"THE WORKS ARE FOR THE INDIVIDUAL WHO RESISTS THE CROWD."
A self-taught artist. A regular guy seeking to produce pictures that relect my perceptions of how I see the world around me as honestly as I can. I take commissions for portraits and illustrations but the main body of my works are images relating to everyday experiences we share, are affected by, but may not be fully aware of their reach. Images informing us of the psychological, spiritual and material worlds within and around us. Not necessarily hopeless or sad pictures but hopefully ones stimulating enough to stir our curiosity and make us wonder where true and lasting hope lies. Some are a bit tongue-in-cheek, the joke that's to be taken seriously. Others direct and in-your-face. The unmasking of right and left propaganda. Things that take place before our very eyes but never reported on truthfully or spun into a believable non-reality that we numbingly accept as truth. Many are visual comments revealing the unseemly and deceptive activities of institutionalized politics, religion and their traditions. Eye-catching works about life in the raw. I hope you enjoy them. Please let me know what you think either way.
